ABOUT

Hello! My name is Beth.

I am a graphic and movement artist  based in Portland, OR.

I'm a self-taught graphic designer interested in website design and print/digital media. To me, graphic design is the place where regular life overlaps with creative culture.  Graphic design is the meeting place for art and business. It's the glue between passion and visibility. Together, let's bring your vision to life! I am proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, Wix and Wordpress.

To give you an idea what else I'm up to in my life, I'm a freelance dancer, choreographer, and writer as well. I've presented dance work through the Regional Arts and Culture Council's Night Lights, Downright Productions' Amorphous, Polaris Dance Theater's Galaxy Festival, FLOOR Center for Dance and Performance Works Northwest. I also currently dance with Tongue Dance Project, based in St. John's. We are a rad group of women following the leadership of Stephanie Gilliland: committed to innovation and experimentation within contemporary dance. Check us out here!

Prior to Portland, I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance at George Mason University. My writing on dance is published in Philadelphia's The Dance Journal and Oregon Arts Watch
